My group and I were supposed to meet up at 2pm today, however we decided to meet up at 1.30pm. This was to set up the studio so that there was enough time for the presenters to rehearse instead of us wasting time setting up whilst we were there. The presenters my group and I had wanted to use was Tom and Natalie as they had good chemistry on set. They also presented well and were able to work well with us.

As it was our first live show and only had a couple of days to rehearse, my group and I were very nervous and put under alot of pressure, however despite this, we all worked hard and well together. As autocue and sound were located next to each other in the gallery, Amy and I helped keep track of time of the show to help the Director so that it was easier to let the floor manager know when to cue the presenters in when they present. The group were slightly worried however, as a final draft of the script had not been uploaded on the tri-cast and we were unaware as to how long the final draft will be. The presenters worked well and delivered the show very well and were good at ad-libing if we were running behind time. We asked the presenters if it was okay for them to come in at 9 the next day to present and luckily they agreed so that we could get practice for the actual show with the correct inserts etc. One insert had been ingested today however the last one hadn’t so we were still awaiting. As we had a draft of the script we did have an estimation of how long the show would be so if we did run behind or over the presenters would be able to cut ad lib or carry on with it.
